Applied’s mission is to accelerate the world’s adoption of safe and intelligent machines. We've come a long way just six years after our company was founded. Our team spans across seven global offices in five countries. 17 of the top 20 global automakers and companies across trucking, agriculture, construction, and mining use our solutions to develop, test, and deploy autonomous systems at scale.

Of course, the team is the most essential part of a company. We’re a mix of software, simulation, automotive, and other experts from top companies like Google, Tesla, Waymo, Toyota, and Mercedes-Benz. Many of us have graduated from top universities like the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard University, Stanford University, and the University of California, Berkeley. Almost half of Applied’s team has a Master’s or a Ph.D. degree.
In addition to our experience, Applied is committed to helping all team members advance their careers. For example, we offer training programs for new graduates, aspiring managers, software engineers, recruiters, and others to grow their skill sets and stay on top of the latest industry developments.

Everything we do starts with the intention of understanding our customers. We want to help our customers make quick, consistent, measurable progress. At Applied, you’ll work directly with customers to help them solve their unique challenges.

Our mission, values, and team are distributed across different offices and countries. We’re headquartered in Mountain View but have offices in Detroit, D.C., Munich, Stockholm, Seoul, and Tokyo to support our customers wherever they are.
Several team members travel to other offices throughout the year to meet with customers and collaborate face-to-face. We also host everyone for a global get-together at our Mountain View headquarters every year. These things help us stay closely connected to our customers, collaborate effectively across offices and time zones, and make friends worldwide.
After one year or more at Applied, our engineers can rotate into any of our global offices in Munich, Stockholm, Tokyo, and Seoul to work with local customers and live abroad for a while.
